HouseMusic1 comes to you from a state of the art studio using broadcast quality equipment to ensure the best quality sound possible.

A lot of effort goes into getting a good clean sound to you. We operate 2 internet streams, a high quality 128kbit Stereo stream for when you are listening via your PC or other home based audio equipment and we have a lower bitrate stereo stream running at 64kbit which works great with iPhones/Smartphones.

Even before it gets to that stage the tunes are all originally stored at 320kbps and we use a virtual Optimod processor along with a distortion limiter and de-esser to give a punchy sound to the audio.

When we have live DJ's in the studio they use a mixture of Pioneer CDJ-1000, Vestax VCI-100 with Traktor, Serato Scratch and Technics SL-1210 turntables with good old vinyl.

You will notice we include the Artist and Track Name in our streams, there is nothing worse than hearing a top tune and not knowing what it is, so we provide that for you.

Our internet streams are compatible with Winamp, iTunes, Windows Media Player and Real Audio Player.

You can tune into the station from our website wherever you see the Listen Now !!! box or the media players icons shown to the left. 

The embedded player will play as long as you reamin on that page, if you want to browse other web pages (including on this site) we recommend the pop-up player that is listed.

This will open a new small window and will continue to play no matter what website you visit. (you will need to accept the Microsoft script to allow the pop-up player to start)

You can also listen to us with your favourite media player, just click on the player that you use and the link to play the station will be loaded into your player, it should then start playing the music automatically.

If you are listening on a MAC you will have to click on the iTunes link. We are working on a MAC compatible pop-up player

Our internet 64kbit stream is compatible with your iPhone/iPod Touch or any other PDA or Smartphone that will accept a streaming media connection

If you have an iPhone you can listen to HouseMusic1 streaming live by using several Apps that are available in the Apple Apps Store.
